2025 PB2025 PBL Program – Incheon Metropolitan City Mayor’s Award CeremonyL 프로그램 인천광역시장상 수여
Incheon National University (President: In-jae Lee) has demonstrated outstanding outcomes through its problem-based learning (PBL) program, generating practical policy solutions for regional issues.
The university announced on the 30th that three teams participating in the 2025 PBL (Project-Based Learning) program received the Incheon Metropolitan City Mayor’s Award.
The PBL program is a team-based extracurricular initiative in which students take the lead in identifying social issues—including policy challenges proposed by Incheon Metropolitan City—and develop practical solutions and policy alternatives. Over a nine-week period, participating students refine their topics under faculty supervision and design field-oriented solutions through institutional visits and expert lectures.
Since 2019, Incheon National University has operated this program for seven consecutive years as part of the University Innovation Support Project. The university has also maintained close collaboration with Incheon Metropolitan City through an agreement on “Promoting Cooperation for Solving Social Issues through Expanded Student Participation.”
The three award-winning projects are as follows:
